Black Tea

Black or Red teas have a dizzying range of flavors despite all being fully oxidized ( the characteristic that defines the type). Plucked from the two varieties of the Camellia Sinensis plant, black tea is heavily processed tea through withering, oxidizing, rolling and drying methods.

Commonly called red tea in China because of the copper color liquor processed during infusion, black tea flavors range from bold and smoky to nutty and sweet.  Black tea contains moderate amounts of caffeine.

Phytochemicals in Black tea have been shown to stimulate the circulatory system, strengthen blood vessels and decrease the cholesterol level in the bloodstream.

CTC and More's Black tea is sourced directly from the growers.  This enable us to bring you the freshest and best quality possible.
