Our Gourmet Swiss and Belgian Chocolates originate from the recipes of Albert Kumin.  The New York Times wrote that he was one of the most celebrated pastry chefs in the United States and created deserts for Jimmy Carter's White House.  Swiss by birth, he invented the Chocolate Velvet Cake, the signature dessert at the Four Seasons.  His accomplishments are long and delicious.

Albert's recipes were passed down to new owners of his company in Vermont after retirement.  The operation relocated to Massachusetts in 2001 and continues to make the finest tasting chocolates you'll ever taste.
